Terms of Service
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SignFlow, including the web application, signing pages, public web forms and the emails we send (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by the operator of this SignFlow website (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account, or by using a signing link or web form, you agree to these Terms. If you use SignFlow on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate account information, including an email address you control. You can sign in with an email and password or, where offered, with Google.
Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can review recent sign-ins and sign out of other devices from Settings.
3. A free service
SignFlow is free to use. There are no paid plans or premium features, and we don’t ask for payment details.
If we ever decide to introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you will never be charged without explicitly agreeing to it.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the documents, templates, contacts, form submissions and other content you upload or create (“Your Content”).
You give us a limited permission to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you send documents to — for example, to show a document to a signer, to apply signatures, and to produce the completed document and its audit certificate. We don’t use Your Content for advertising.
You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to upload it and share it with your recipients, including any personal information it contains.
5. Electronic signatures
SignFlow provides tools to collect electronic signatures and to record related events (such as views, consent and signatures) in an audit trail. Whether an electronic signature is valid or enforceable depends on the laws of the relevant country, the type of document and the circumstances.
You are responsible for deciding whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your documents and for meeting any legal requirements that apply to you. SignFlow is not a qualified trust service provider, does not issue qualified electronic signatures or certificates, and does not independently verify the identity of signers beyond the checks you choose to use, such as email delivery and access codes. We don’t provide legal advice.
6. Recipients and signers
Recipients don’t need an account. When you sign or review a document through a SignFlow link, you agree to use electronic records for that document and that your name, email address, signature and signing events will be shared with the sender and the other parties to that document.
Senders must only send documents to people they have a legitimate reason to contact, and must not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use SignFlow to send unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful content; to impersonate another person or organization; to collect signatures or information under false pretenses; to distribute malware; to infringe others’ rights; or to probe, overload or interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
We may remove content or restrict access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, or when required by law.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep SignFlow available and reliable, but because it is a free service it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees of uptime or uninterrupted access. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Keep copies of important completed documents. You can download completed documents and their certificates at any time while your account is active. If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice so you can download your documents.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using SignFlow at any time and request deletion of your account from Settings. Documents you sent to others, or that others sent to you, may remain available to the other parties to those documents.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put other users or the Service at risk, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to download your documents.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you in the product or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use SignFlow after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact address published by the operator of this SignFlow service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
